Monel K500 is an age-hardenable nickel-copper alloy developed by adding aluminium and titanium to the Monel 400 composition.

We supply Monel K500 Bars & Rods in round, square, hexagonal, flat, rectangular, threaded and forged forms, with surface finishes and dimensions selected according to customer requirements.

Monel K500 Square Bars have four equal sides and are used where a square cross-section is required for fabrication, machining and mechanical assemblies. The material combines the corrosion resistance of a nickel-copper alloy with the increased strength obtained through age hardening. Monel K500 Rectangular Bars are manufactured for applications requiring a specific rectangular cross-section. They can be produced through hot working, cold working, forging or machining depending on the required dimensions.

Monel K500 Ground Bars undergo grinding to achieve improved dimensional control and surface finish. They are suitable for precision-machined parts, shafts, pins and components where diameter consistency is important. Monel K500 Polished Bars are supplied with a smooth, visually clean surface finish and are used where surface appearance, cleanliness or reduced surface roughness is important.

Monel K500 Forged Bars are produced by controlled hot forging to obtain the required cross-section and metallurgical structure. Forged bars are particularly suitable for larger or heavily loaded components where high mechanical strength and structural integrity are important. Monel K500 Flat Bars are supplied with a rectangular cross-section and are suitable for brackets, supports, structural components, machined parts and fabricated assemblies. Flat bars can be supplied in different thickness-to-width combinations and cut lengths.
